Now a little about us, and how we started…
Likethatprice.com is a testament to the age old statement, “You can do anything if you put your mind to it.”
Like that price was created by two people who had very limited knowledge of website design and implementation. Creating a website with about 10 pages was the extent of our talents when we first started this project. After being quite shocked by the prices that were quoted by multiple E-Commerce website designers, we decided to go it alone.
Or initial intention, which is still in place, was to offer a variety of products at low prices. I guess this is what everyone hopes for when they intend on diving into the E-Commerce industry. We had no idea what products we would offer, and no clue where to start.
Over those first four months, we learned, tested, and failed, over and over again. Even now, with all that we have learned, we still haven’t even begun to scrape the surface of whats out there. And acquiring products to sell was just as interesting. We choose the products we sell based on the Companies that make them, not by the money making potential. We also wanted to make sure to be through within a group of products.
Now today, after many hard learned lessons, we offer over 10,000 pet care products, and have over 11,000 individual pages on Likethatprice.com. We are currently working on a new product grouping, that will be released on the site soon and will triple our product line. We hope you will stop in from time to time, and check out our progress.
